DEPRESSION COUNSELING

You have a lot of great things going for you and you're grateful for your success.  You have great friends, a job you enjoy, and you don't have a problem with putting in the extra work needed to reach the next level.  You've always been focused, and enjoy watching your plans come together. But lately it's been harder to keep up the same drive.  You find your mind wandering more than usual and it's taking more effort to make it through the day.  Even when you accomplish something great, you don't seem to experience the same joy you used to.  You always feel the pressure to perform, but you find yourself caring less and less.

You used to be the life of the party, but lately you'd rather go to bed early than hang out with your best friends.  Your relationships and work are suffering, but you don’t know why or what to do to fix it.  You wish you had someone to talk to about how you’re feeling, but you’re afraid they’ll judge you for being unhappy when you seem to have a great life.  You've gotten really good at wearing a "mask" when around others; smiling, laughing, joking, but inside you feel lost and alone.

You’ve experienced feeling down every once in a while, but now it feels like you’re falling into darkness and you’ve started to crying more than you used to.  You can't seem to find the motivation to do the laundry or wash the dishes and all you really want is time to be alone.  You don't feel depressed, just really unmotivated and you've lost interest in all the things you used to enjoy doing.  You can't put your finger on what's going on with you, but you know something has to change.  You want to find someone that can help you through this, that you can genuinely trust and who will truly understand you and what you’re going through.
